After getting raped up the arse at Alton Towers (£36 to get in, £12 to jump 4 Qs and £5 to park) on Sunday 3rd May, a text from a Shrewsbury Pie Man told me the Pallid Swift was back at Crosby, and he and Richard V were on the way. Fuck it they can't be allowed to grip me off, so it was straight from Alton Towers up to Scouse land for the bland swift.
Within a few minutes of getting there, Archie Archer kindly pointed it out, which was a huge relief as I could not be arsed going through the whole flock. Saw the Spats, who had just filled their boots with crippling views. Gave it about an hour and got much better views later on, when the flock moved around. Another one on the list, and 384 BOU.
